| soul work | In order to have something of substance to offer in a relationship, you need to be doing the soul work to be whole. That includes loving yourself. But it’s a paradox, because real love is the highest form of selflessness. In other words, it’s NOT about you. If you are only focused on your own needs, and what a perfect partner can bring to satisfy YOU, once the “fire” has died down, the relationship will run off the rails. True fulfilment comes by giving love unconditionally. It’s only in letting go of the attachment to what YOU want that you can experience the true power of love. Because, the reality is, you can never outgive love. The more you give, the more you will receive.
